I'm a postdoc at Columbia University's Zuckerman Institute, working with Elias Issa. In 2019, I got my PhD in Brain & Cognitive Sciences at MIT, working in Josh McDermott's Computational Audition Lab.

Broadly, I'm interested in the computation, neuroscience, and behavior of everyday perception. I want to make detailed connections between the three.

I'm also pretty excited about marmosets.

In my postdoc, I'm working to develop the marmoset as a model of high-level perception. Work thus far:

• Benchmarking marmoset high-level visual perception contra macaques, rats, and humans.

In my PhD, the two main lines of work focused on:

1. Building better models of auditory cortical computation, using advances in deep learning.

2. Understanding how we robustly encode sound sources of interest in the presence of real-world background noise.
